Miniature Enthusiasts of the Central Okanagan

Who We Are

The Miniature Enthusiasts of the Central Okanagan was founded in 2003 by a small group of people passionate about miniatures.  While we primarily work in 1:12th scale (Dollhouse scale) we also enjoy working in other miniature scales such as 1:24th and 1:48th.

We meet the fourth Sunday of the month from 1pm to 4pm to participate in workshops, share information and to just have some miniature fun.  Our workshops are usually taught by members of our group, although we do, from time to time, have guest minaturists in to teach a workshop.  We also have a few meetings where we employ a "bring your own project to work on" philosophy.  Our member fees are $10 per year for individuals and $15 per year for couples.  Our group ends for the summer in June (capped off with a delicious potluck lunch) and resumes in September.

Every April we host an Annual Miniature Show & Sale where we display our own projects we've worked on throughout the year as well as the Group Project voted on by members in January.  Vendors from across Western Canada participate in our show and there are many tiny and wonderful items to choose from.  Everything from dollhouse kits, minature food, furniture, plants, books and common household items are available for sale.  As well, many of our members have their own projects and items available for purchase.

We are a small (no pun intended!) group of people who are always excited about new miniaturists joining us.  If you have a passion and interest in miniatures then you've come to the right place.  If you're interested in joining our group (or heck, just want to drop in on a meeting or two to see what this crazy miniature world is like) please click on the "Contact Us" button and send us an email.  We'd love to chat with you!
